So it's mid-January, it's absolutely freezing outside, and the world is at its finest. There's something so picturesque about the winter. It inspires me. I feel unrushed, relaxed - creative. For the past few days, I've been taking walks around the city with my friends, bracing the arctic temperatures and finally getting to understand the city that I've lived in for the past six months. Montreal is stunning - a metropolis that isn't as pretentious as New York, but still has the class of it's fine Southern neighbour. So, now that I've officially gotten a new laptop, and have some money left over from my graduation gifts, I was thinking of buying a DSLR. I've been working with the average digital camera for YEARS now, and have wanted to upgrade to a DSLR for quite a while. Now, I don't have that much money to spend (about $600-$800), but I know that I want a good quality camera. I don't know if the lens would come with it, so if someone could explain that concept to me as well, I'd really appreciate it. I only know that the best lenses have to be bought seperately, and can be quite pricey... Anyways, any suggestions?
